honestly, ii love the product… it is extremely reliable and easy to use.. Hi. Im a fencer and this product has made a huge difference for me.
I represent Puerto Rico and I noticed when I fenced there I was slipping a lot. My thought is that because of the humidity and fencing in open air made the strips slippery. I started using edge and I hardly ever slip anymore. I now use it at every tournament because slipping could mean an injury so if using edge keeps me from getting injured than Im all in. EDGE® is a new scientific breakthrough in athletic performance. Athletes simply apply EDGE® to their sneaker outsoles right before beginning activity in order to enhance grip. You lose less energy with every step, which translates to various benefits including improved agility, crisper cuts, and better power transfer on jumps.
Even brand new rubber sneaker outsoles are subject to oxidation and hardening, which means they’re not optimally grippy. EDGE®’s formula works by safely elasticizing the rubber in your outsoles, which instantly makes them more grippy on-demand. The improved grip is most noticeable on smooth indoor athletic surfaces like hardwood.
Simply apply just enough EDGE® to cover your sneaker outsoles (avoid getting any on the floor), wait 15 seconds for it to begin absorbing into the rubber, and then kick your shoes against the floor on the sidelines a few times to lock in the enhanced grip. The effect will last for hours, but it’s most noticeable within the first 10 minutes. Many athletes choose to reapply EDGE® during breaks because it’s so easy, dries fast, and has an instant effect. Note, the more you use EDGE®, the longer your outsole enhancement will last, because there is a cumulative effect.

Yes, EDGE® can help you improve your footing and grip, even on suboptimal indoor athletic surfaces like dusty courts.
EDGE® works by quickly absorbing into rubber and improving the outsole’s natural grip and elasticity. Foam outsoles, like UA Flow / Curry FloTro, are NOT rubber and are actually a plastic that is designed to imitate rubber. That is why this material is very light, making it a great sneaker, but not the right fit for EDGE Spray specifically. However, our customers have reported the EDGE Grip Wipes and the EDGE Advanced Grip System have a positive effect, even on non-rubber outsoles. EDGE® has been thoroughly tested by athletes at the pro, college, and high school levels, across several different sports and sneaker types. In controlled lab testing, EDGE®’s formula increases the friction coefficient (grip) of athletic sneaker outsoles by about 25% on average. Note, it's only recommended for sneakers with rubber outsoles.
About 2-3 sprays will usually coat each outsole adequately. The goal is to evenly coat the entirety of both outsoles. Avoid getting any of it on the floor and apply it away from the playing area.
One application of EDGE® can enhance grip for hours, but the effect is most noticeable within the first 15 minutes. Since it’s so fast and easy to use (dries in under a minute), many athletes re-apply it during breaks to truly maximize grip for the entire session. Your sneaker outsoles will cumulatively maintain more grippiness as you continue using EDGE® over several sessions. Note, results may vary from shoe to shoe.
Our 2oz version lasts for about 80 sessions and our 4oz bottle lasts for about 160 sessions.

EDGE was designed for sneakers, but we have TONS of golfers using the products now. Most golfers use our Single Use Grip Wipes by unfolding one wipe and massaging it into the grips of the club. One wipe can be used for multiple clubs!
You can also use our Grip Spray by spraying 3 sprays per club directly onto the hand grips (coating it evenly). Allow the formula to soak in for at least 30 seconds, and then you can clean off any excess with a towel.
Your grips should feel fresh, softer, and rehydrated after applying EDGE. The effect should last at least an hour before needing to reapply, with some golfers citing they only need to apply once at the start of the outing!
EDGE was engineered for use on sneaker rubber, but we recently learned it works AMAZING on football gloves!
To use our Grip Wipes, take 1 wipe, unfold it fully, and rub the wipe thoroughly between your gloves while wearing them. Make sure to clean every inch of the surface.
To use our Grip Spray, wear both gloves and spray each glove at least 1 time. Then rub the gloves together repeatedly until the formula evaporates, leaving a fresh, clean surface. *For excessively dirty gloves, you may need a towel to collect some of the removed dirt.
The formula will dry on its own, leaving the gloves feeling brand new, or better!
Yes! SFIA rules prohibit the use of anything that adds a layer that will rub off on any equipment that can then touch the ball or other equipment.
Our grip formula does a deep clean of the surface but leaves NO residue, so there is nothing that will get on the ball. Therefore it is safe and legal to use!

EDGE®'s formula safely elasticizes the rubber in your outsoles, instantly making them more grippy on demand — most noticeably on smooth indoor surfaces like hardwood, tile, or vinyl (and it helps on dusty courts too).
To use it, apply just enough EDGE® to cover your sneaker outsoles (avoid getting any on the floor), wait 15 seconds for it to begin absorbing into the rubber, and then kick your shoes against the floor a few times to lock in the enhanced grip.
Shoe grip is most commonly used for basketball, volleyball, pickleball, fencing, boxing, table tennis, squash, racquetball, indoor soccer (futsal), indoor hockey, dance, and other activities on smooth indoor athletic surfaces. Note: EDGE® is only recommended for sneakers with rubber outsoles.
In addition to football gloves and sneakers, golfers are also using EDGE®. Most golfers use our Single Use Grip Wipes by unfolding one wipe and massaging it into the grips of the club. One wipe can be used for multiple clubs!
You can also use our Grip Spray by spraying 3 sprays per club directly onto the hand grips (coating it evenly). Allow the formula to soak in for at least 30 seconds, and then you can clean off any excess with a towel.
Your grips should feel fresh, softer, and rehydrated after applying EDGE. The effect should last at least an hour before needing to reapply, with some golfers citing they only need to apply once at the start of the outing!
